to take its disputes with the United States to the

felt it was necessary.

Silver’s extraordinary trip to Cuba to negotiate a reciprocal treaty of recognition, friendship, and assistance with the Republic of Cuba whereby Cuba agreed to sponsor the Miccosukee Seminole Nation before the United Nations Assembly.
The Miami Herald on March 12, 1953, 4C, noticed Morton Silver in Cuba during the beginning of the revolution to oust the Cuban President Fulgencio Batista.
